Both the swelling and the bruising will go down significantly after 1-2 days before they disappear completely (5-7 days). If desired, a medication with a decongestant effect can be prescribed.

The body should be spared for 2 days after the treatment. Sports, sauna, alcohol and blood-thinning medication such as aspirin and ibuprofen should be avoided.
