In brief

  • Dermacare offers PCR tests by nasal swab or gargle test, with the result available in 6 to 24 hours.
  • The PCR test cost €69 and the express PCR test, with a result in 6 to 12 hours, cost €89.
  • The report is available in German and English, with your passport number on request, and a fit-to-fly certificate is possible.
  • A serological antibody test is also offered; the report arrives by email within 12 to 24 hours.

Whether for a summer holiday, a restaurant visit or for visitors to Vienna – nothing works this summer without 3G proof (vaccinated, recovered or tested). One of the pillars of this strategy is the highly reliable PCR test. At Dermacare in Vienna, we have been offering our clients this form of Covid testing since last year. Through better cooperation with Viennese laboratories, we have been able to lower the price and are also introducing even faster express tests. With the PCR test, we also cater especially to holidaymakers and provide you with all the documentation required for travel.

PCR test for €69 in Vienna

At Dermacare, we carry out PCR tests by nasal swab with medically trained staff. Alternatively, we also offer PCR gargle tests. The result is available within 6 to 24 hours, and we work closely with Viennese laboratories to achieve this. To make access to PCR testing as accessible as possible, we have recently been offering the tests at the reduced price of €69.

Express PCR test: result within 12 hours

Our offer of express tests is also new. The result, including the medical certificate, is available within just 6 to 12 hours. The price of the express PCR test at Dermacare is €89. Here too, it is either a nasal swab or a PCR gargle test.

Covid tests for holidaymakers

Holidaymakers in particular repeatedly need PCR tests quickly. These include Austrians planning a stay abroad, or visitors from abroad coming to Vienna. We have tailored our testing offer specifically to these groups. You receive the report for the Dermacare PCR test in both German and English, and it is signed by a doctor. On request, we can also note your passport number on the report free of charge. And if you need a medical "fit-to-fly" certificate, our specialist can issue this for you.

In some countries, such as China, an antibody test is also required for entry. That is why Dermacare also offers the serological antibody test. With this test, the amount of IgG antibodies, or on request the IgM value, can be determined. For this, blood is taken from a vein and examined in the laboratory. You will receive the report of the serological antibody test within 12-24 hours, or on the next working day, by email.
