SHR hair removal in Vienna at Dermacare
Modern SHR hair removal is both particularly effective and gentle on the skin. A consultation under dermatological supervision always takes place before the treatment, during which all questions can be answered. With the "In-Motion" method, the melanin of the hair and the tissue of the stem cells are slowly warmed through the skin. The warming takes place over a longer period (up to 90 seconds) and with low energy to a skin-friendly temperature of approx. 45° Celsius. Due to a thermal reaction, the nutrient cells of the hair root are denatured and sclerosed.
After permanent hair removal, the hairs that were shaved before the treatment are still in the skin. Depending on the body region treated, the hairs fall out on their own approx. 5-21 days after laser hair removal. A hair root treated and sclerosed in this way is no longer able to produce new hairs.
Thanks to its low energy density, SHR technology is unique in permanent hair removal. Instead of simply destroying unwanted hairs, SHR technology heats the hair follicles gradually and gently. In fact, this approach, combined with cooling, makes the treatment so comfortable that no gel or painkillers are needed.

The term permanent hair removal is defined by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration USA) as a significant reduction of hair for a period longer than the hair cycle in the region. The oldest method by which permanent hair removal can be achieved is needle epilation. For some years now, however, laser and IPL epilation have been used for permanent hair removal with increasing success. The SHR method with 3 wavelengths is the state of the art in laser technology for permanent hair removal.
The number of sessions depends on several factors, including the colour, depth, size and age of the tattoo. The aim is not always complete removal, but sufficient lightening. Often just a few sessions are enough to create an ideal basis for the cover-up tattoo.
Botox (botulinum toxin or BTA) is a naturally occurring bacterial protein. It is secreted by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum and isolated through complex purification steps. Botulinum toxin is used in aesthetic medicine to smooth wrinkles in the face, neck and décolletage and for treatment of increased sweat gland activity. In addition, Botox is very successful for migraine attacks.
Long-term studies over several years have proven that the effect of professionally performed hair removal is of long-term duration: once hair follicles have been destroyed, they will no longer produce hair.
